Autism Awareness Session - Wednesday 29 March 2018, 11:00am to 11:45am, Room Q1-03
World Autism Awareness Week is 27 March to 2 April, the Autism Champions group invites you to attend a short autism awareness session hosted by Gemma Gray. Gemma set up the blog and Facebook group Colouring Outside the Lines when trying to learn more about and understand her daughter’s autism. It provides a support forum for parents of girls before, during and after their daughter’s diagnosis with autism. Gemma will be talking in general terms about autism but also on a personal level about her family’s experiences. Please contact Andy Philip or Phillipa Booth with any queries.
This free three-week online course is primarily designed for policy makers and practitioners from both the public and private sectors whose work requires them to think about and take forward wellbeing measures. The course has been developed by the University of Edinburgh in conjunction with Scotland’s Futures Forum and the Scottish Universities Insight Institute.
